Q: Are you in the credits of all 3 extended editions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy?
A: Okay, no one asked me this lol, but yes, I am.
Q: How much money have you earned from this website?
A: As of December 12, 2025, I have earned negative $4808.92! Wow, calculating that was incredibly depressing!
Q: Weren’t you on Medium?
A: Yes, I was. However, sometime in January 2025, my Medium article on Kid Buu vs. Buuhan was de-indexed by search engines because someone created a thread on a forum about my article. As that website was more popular, the search engines assumed that forum post was the original. I created this website so that my work can be indexed again.
Q: Who are you?
A: I currently have two jobs, one of which is teaching little kids with autism. I used to be the Human Resources Manager for an NGO in Seoul that helped North Korean defectors, and have a Master’s degree in International Relations from one of the best universities in the world. My thesis was on Indigenous sovereignty, an extremely neglected topic within IR. I highly recommend anyone curious in the topic to read the works of Prof. Sheryl Lightfoot. I’ve also beaten over 600 video games, read over 200 books, and can do an amazing Wookiee impersonation.
Q: Why do you use links to Nitter and similar websites instead of linking to X (Twitter)?
A: Linking to Nitter allows you to see the tweets I am referring to while denying the Nazi who owns X ad revenue. It’s a win-win situation.
Q: You lived in Korea for a long time. Which places did you visit?
A: Andong, Anjwado, Anyang, Asan, Bakjido, Banwoldo, Bucheon, Busan, Changwon, Cheonan, Chuncheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Dangjin, Dokdo, the DMZ, Ganghwado, Gangneung, Gwangju, Gwangmyeong, Gyeongju, Incheon, Jeju City, Jeonju, Jinhae, Jindo, Mokpo, Paju, Pohang, Pyeongtaek, Seogwipo, Seongnam, Seoul, Siheung, Sokcho, Suncheon, Suwon, Udo, Ulleungdo, Ulsan, Yeongcheon, Yeosu, and Yesan.
Video Games
Q: What are your current Top 10 video games?
A: Final Fantasy VII, Hades, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Red Dead Redemption 2, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros. Melee, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, and Yakuza 0.
Q: What are some less popular video games that you recommend?
A: Cave Story+, Comix Zone, Gato Roboto, Golden Sun, Guacamelee, Gunstar Heroes, Fat Princess, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Jet Set Radio, Katamari Damacy, Mister Mosquito, Pepsiman, Pizza Possum, Savant – Ascent, Snatcher, Space Channel 5, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People, Super Meat Boy, The Talos Principle, Thank Goodness You’re Here, Untitled Goose Game, Viewtiful Joe, and VVVVVV.
Dragon Ball
Q: Could you debate me?
A: Please subscribe to the appropriate Patreon tier for this.
Q: Could you research xyz for me?
A: No.
Q: Goku solos because his outerversal ki output scales infinitely and transcends dimensionality, and his complex multiversal AP neg diffs 4D+ verses.
A: Please go outside in the Sun at least once a day and reduce your Internet usage significantly.
Q: How long does it take you to write a Deep Dive article?
A: The Deep Dive articles I write take several months to write, and then I update them as I find new information. Gathering and translating sources is the most time-consuming part of it.
Q: Why aren’t your pictures of 30 year old magazines that were printed on the lowest quality paper available in perfect quality?
A: …
Q: Why did you start writing the Deep Dives?
A: Misconceptions about Dragon Ball characters appear in nearly every discussion of them online. Over the decades, in some fan communities, these misconceptions even became the widely accepted interpretation. It’s also the case that many fans simply want their favorite characters to be stronger than they actually are and will simply lie about their abilities in order to convince others. As evidenced by the hateful comments I regularly receive, these false beliefs about characters are so deeply held that they are almost religious in their intensity. Through my Deep Dives, I hope to undo decades of misunderstandings about Dragon Ball and show fans the truth about these characters. Unlike some popular Dragon Ball fan sites, I don’t hide the original Japanese text of interviews, guidebooks, etc. from you and just say “trust me, my translation is correct.” Not only do I show you exactly what I’m referencing, but I also tell you the exact book and page number it can be found in so that you can verify it yourself. Ultimately what I am doing with these Deep Dives is advocating for fans to listen to the creators of Dragon Ball.

A: Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
