Last weekend, I made it over to the Shonen Jump pop-up store in the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The pop-up store labeled itself as being in “New York” and the clothing they sold said as much, too. It always makes me laugh when things in New Jersey call themselves “New York,” like the New York Jets. The Jets have been in New Jersey for 2/3 of their entire existence. Just own it that you are a NJ team at this point. I digress. I bought one of those hoodies and a pair of blind box magnets. If you spend over $20, you get a random sticker. I got a Prince of Tennis sticker. Overall, I didn’t think the store was that special. There was nothing truly noteworthy about it except the hoodies. Everything you could buy here was something you could buy pretty much anywhere else in New Jersey. It continues until January 20, 2026 if you’d like to visit it.
